Qantas Points: How to earn points without trying

I was sitting at my normal 9 to 5 desk job the other day, chatting with some colleagues about our next adventure. I realised my colleagues have been throwing away free qantas points. So I am dedicating this post to my colleagues and their families to help get the most out of your every day spending and activities.

If you haven’t already, head over to my first post to learn everything you need to know about the Qantas Frequent Flyer program. In this post I am going to talk about all the ways to earn points for free, or on your every day purchases. You don’t have to pay more to earn points.

Join Qantas Frequent Flyer for Free

It is technically not free to join the Qantas Frequent Flyer program and it typically costs $99.50. However, here at Serendipitous Wanderlust we are all about saving money. So I am offering you a way to sign up with the Qantas Frequent Flyer program for free. All you need to do is follow this link. All I ask in return is that you share my blog with your friends and leave a comment below.

Earn Qantas Points for free

Qantas Wellbeing App

This one is my favourite way to earn point, because it is so effortless. By signing up to the Qantas Wellbeing App you can earn points for walking, working out, and even sleeping. You can also create your own link to refer all of your friends and earn 150 points per referral for yourself.

Earn on everyday spend

Fuel

Did you know that you can earn Qantas points with fuel purchases? BP have partnered up with Qantas, so now you can choose dollars off at BP or David Jones eGift Cards, or choose to earn points to put towards a holiday. You can also use points to pay for fuel and in-store purchases at BP. You can get $10 off for each 1,900 points you use. However, I don’t recommend using your points to pay for fuel, as you will get the best value for money when you put them toward reward flights.

Qantas Shopping has great ways to earn points when you shop. Earn Qantas Points on over 450 brands. If you have a Frequent Flyer credit card you can also double dip and get extra points.
